5-axis simultaneous milling

CNC 5-axis simultaneous milling is a high-precision, computer-controlled manufacturing process for producing geometrically sophisticated and complex-shaped components. The workpiece is clamped onto the machine table and moved simultaneously (at the same time) via two additional axes in addition to the three linearly controlled axes (X, Y, and Z axes). A rotating milling tool continuously removes material while the tool and workpiece are optimally aligned with each other. CNC (computerized numerical control) allows complex free-form surfaces, undercuts, and precise contours to be produced with high dimensional accuracy and repeatability.

  • Component sizes with diameters or diagonals up to 900 mm x 400 mm
  • Production of small, medium, and large series
  • 2000 kg indoor crane for heavy components
  • Complex geometries, fits, threads, grooves, and much more

    (BMO automation system)
