3-axis milling
3-axis CNC milling is a high-precision, computer-controlled manufacturing process for producing geometric and complex-shaped components. The workpiece is clamped securely to the machine table while a rotating milling tool removes material along the three linearly controlled axes (X, Y, and Z axes). CNC (computerized numerical control) allows contours, pockets, and holes to be produced with high dimensional accuracy and repeatability—from single parts to series production.
